In this unit, students will learn how to use percentages in Maths. They will start with an introduction to percentages as parts per hundred, and will learn to find one number as a percentage of another. They will also look at percentages above 100%. Students will then learn how to find percentages of amounts, both without and with calculators, and then learn how to increase and decrease amounts by percentages. They will look at using multipliers to find percentages, before looking at percentages in real life contexts.
