Graphs of Trigonometric Functions – Complete Unit of Work

In this unit students will learn about graphing functions of sin, cos and tan. They will start by identifying the values of these functions at key points, and will learn to recognise the shapes of the sin, cos and tan graphs and use these to identify all solutions of a given trigonometric function in the range 0 to 360°. They will then go on to look at transformations of trigonometric graphs, including translations, reflections and stretches/compressions.
