Factors, Multiples & Primes (Foundation Tier) – Complete Unit of Work

In this unit, students will learn about factors, multiples, prime numbers and some of their mathematical applications. They will begin by looking at different types of integers, including listing multi-digit numbers that can be made from given integers. Students will then go on to study how to find multiples and factors of numbers, the nature of prime numbers, decomposing a composite number into its prime factors, and finding common factors and multiples of two numbers, including the HCF and the LCM.
