In this unit, students will learn how to find upper and lower bounds of calculations. They will start by looking at the limits of accuracy for individual values, and then consider using these to find measurements such as perimeters, areas and volumes, before finally finding upper and lower bounds of calculations involving four operations, and using these bounds to express answers to appropriate degrees of accuracy.
This pack is designed to provide teachers with complete lesson plans and classroom resources to teach excellent lessons.
